These trials give growers the confidence they need in a product or system, as they enable testing on a larger scale, taking a wider set of variables into consideration.
Suitable sites are selected based on mapping, soil analysis, and soil type, as well as considerations such as crop uniformity and scope of field.
To ensure a high level of confidence within the data set, several measurements are taken from designated areas within each replicated treatment.
A range of assessments can be conducted using drone technology capturing close up, high resolution imagery from marked points within the treatment when required.
Harvest of the treatments are conducted using a plot combine from replicated designated areas within each treatment.
Data captured as part of our large-scale tramline trials is exchanged via ARM (Agriculture Research Manager) or Microsoft Excel data reports generated through ARM.
